It's all about me...winners don't quit!

During a test:

  • Read the questions and introduction carefully.
  • Workout how long you should spend on each question.
  • Change positions to help you relax - feel comfortable.
  • If you go blank, skip the question and go on to the next - it may trigger the answer in your mind.

Breathing
If on the morning of a test you get really stressed try deep breathing exercises.

When you wake do some deep breathing for about ten minutes. Then each time you get that feeling of nerves or panic repeat the deep breathing exercise. You can even do the breathing exercises as you sit in the exam hall waiting for your paper. That is the beauty of the exercise, nobody knows you are doing it and it really works!

Try to eat a healthy breakfast as you will need the energy reserves to see you through the test. Even though you may feel sick from nerves try to choose something like cereal and milk, or fresh fruit or try eggs for protein. Drink water as it regulates your body temperature and stops you dehydrating.
