I
tell you being a Roman Governor
is a hard job. After months of trying to organise this province,
raising taxes
building towns and roads
here I am in Wales fighting against more savages.
This lot
have been stirred up by the Druids.
I am not letting them get away with that and I have told my soldiers
to give them no mercy. Nobody resists me for very long.
Things should
be fine back in the province, although I hear that the old king
of the Iceni is dead. He was all right, for a Celt, kept the peace
and gave us no trouble. I do not think his widow will be a problem.
