I have been a legionary for just over a year now and this is my first time away from home in Rome.

Joining the army was a chance to do something exciting and make something of my life. I miss my family and am feeling homesick.

This is a strange place and I do not like it much. The Celts do not seem a bad lot but our officers tell us to keep on guard all the time as these people can be very fierce and violent.
