| I am the Governor of this far away part of the mighty Roman Empire called Britain. I have been a great soldier and general and as a reward have been given the job to rule over this land for the Emperor. I wish I had been given a better part of the Empire to govern, somewhere warmer and closer to Rome. Still, I will do a good job for the Emperor and make sure these savage Celts behave themselves. They do have some useful things here like lead, tin, iron and animal skins which we need in other parts of the Empire. |
