I am a farmer and live not far from the royal house of the Queen. She is a good Queen, always friendly and helpful to her people. We like her very much and respect what she tries to do for us.

Life for me under the Romans has not changed much at all. I still work hard on my land to grow my barley crops and look after my cattle. The Romans seem to like my cattle and want me to keep more.

I would like to become a Roman citizen one day as life would be better for us then.
