Shortbread

Mrs White, the school mid-day supervisor, is in charge of the cake stall at the school Autumn Fair. She decides to make some shortbread to sell.

Each tray that she bakes is cut into 3 columns and 10 rows. She bakes 5 trays in total.

At the Fair she sells the shortbread in packets of 10 pieces for 50p.

How much money does she get if she sells all her shortbread?

 

Her ingredients cost her £3.70. How much profit does she make?

If Mrs White offered 10% discount off each bag, would she still make profit?
