Heart, Lungs and Muscles
The heart and lungs are major organs of the body which work together to provide the muscles with oxygen to enable them to move.

Lungs

Heart
The cardiovascular system includes the heart and all blood vessels. The heart pumps blood, which is filled with nutrients, to all parts of the body. The blood vessels that carry blood away from the heart are called arteries. Those that return the blood to the heart are called veins.
Blood then must flow back to the lungs to be reoxygenated and the journey around the body begins all over again. Muscles cause movement by contracting and relaxing. In order to work they need energy which is provided by the oxygen we breathe and the nutrients from the food we eat.
