Further activities/ideas which could accompany this project

1. Decorate old clothes with no- toxic fabric paint using stars, moons and runes as markings. Re-enact the scene in The Hobbit where the unexpected band of dwarves visit Bilbo.
   
   
2. For Display, take an old tap top curtain (Viole) decorate with a similar design to the clothes and drape it round the display of task 3 pictures.
   
   
3. Construct your own language with symbols similar to the runes. Send a coded message either by e-mail or by paper to your friends.
